Sensei Nobu has been training in KobuJutsu and Karate since 1968. He holds the rank of 6th Dan in KobuJutsu and 8th Dan with Shinkyu Shotokan. His Karate styles include Ryugo-ryu, Magai-ryu, Yamani-ryu, Shito-ryu and Shorin-ryu.

Senpai Juan Carlos originally joined as a student with his son, and quickly became an integral part of the Shinkyu Shotokan Karate community. Training under Sensei Sue Miller, Sensei Nobu Kaji, and Sensei Leroy Rodrigues, Senpai Juan Carlos earned his black belt in 2021. He now teaches the Teen and Adult classes along side Sensei Nobu.

Senpai Amanda started training under Sensei Sue back in 2002. She earned her black belt in 2013, and would frequently assist in classes even after graduating from college. Today, she teaches the Youth class with her brother Senpai Austin.

Senpai Austin started his karate journey with Shinkyu Shotokan back in 2002. Training under Sensei Sue Miller and Sensei Nobu Kaji, he earned his black belt in 2013. Today, he inspires the next generation, teaching the Youth class together with his sister, Senpai Amanda.

Senpai Isaul started his karate journey in Sensei Sue's Pre-Karate class when he was five years old. Over the years, he advanced through the ranks and classes, and earned his black belt in 2018. Now, he's back where it all started, teaching the next generation of students in the Pre-Karate class.

Senpai Alex has been training with Shinkyu Shotokan Karate for almost 20 years and earned his Shodan in 2015. Karate has been a constant in his life and he enjoys sharing his knowledge with the next generation of students.

Sensei Patrick has been continuously studying with Shinkyu Shotokan Karate since he was 6 years old. He is honored to have trained extensively under Sensei Leroy Rodrigues, Sensei Chester Chan, Sensei Bernardo Mercado, Sensei Nobu Kaji, and Sensei Sue Miller. Through their guidance and inspiration, he now holds the rank of 5th degree black belt. While he is currently not teaching classes, he still trains everyday, and is still very much involved organizing promotionals and tournaments.
